Rund um Taiwan Kurztour

Day 1 – Taipei / Sun Moon Lake

Depart from Taipei and travel to scenic Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan’s largest freshwater lake. After lunch, explore Ita Thao indigenous village, Ci’en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple and Wenwu Temple. Overnight at Sun Moon Lake or Taichung.

Day 2 – Sun Moon Lake / Tainan / Fo Guang Shan / Kaohsiung

Travel to historic Tainan, Taiwan’s oldest city. Visit Fort Zeelandia and stroll along Anping Old Street. Continue to Kaohsiung and visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, home to the impressive Great Buddha Land. Overnight in Kaohsiung.

Day 3 – Kaohsiung / Kenting / Chihpen Hot Springs

Head south to Kenting National Park and discover its spectacular coastline, including Maopitou, Chuanfan Rock, Eluanpi Lighthouse and Longpan Park. Continue via the scenic South Link Highway to Taitung. Relax in the natural hot springs of Chihpen. Overnight in Taitung.

Day 4 – Taitung / East Coast / Hualien / Yilan

Travel along Taiwan’s beautiful East Coast and visit Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai and Shitiping, known for their impressive coastal landscapes and rock formations. Continue to Hualien, followed by a comfortable train ride to Yilan. Overnight in Jiaoxi.

Day 5 – Yilan / Taipei

Visit the King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery and the National Center for Traditional Arts. Afterwards, return by bus to Taipei, where the 5-day round-island tour ends.
