Réunion je francouzský ostrov s populací nacházející se v Indickém oceánu, východně od Madagaskaru, jihozápadně od Mauricia, nejbližšího ostrova. Administrativně je Réunion jedním z přeomořských departementů Francie. HLAVNÍ TURISTICKÉ ATRAKCE • La Cascade de Bras-Rouge. Nachází se v soutěsce Bras-Rouge, na staré cestě směrem k Mafate, vodopád vyhloubil několik bazénů, které jsou ideálními místy pro pikniky. Voda zbarvená oxidem železitým je jednou z hlavních atrakcí. • La Chapelle. Před výstavbou silnice se cesta k Ilet-à-Cordes dala ujít pouze po stezce strmě klesající do řeky Bras-Rouge a poté zase stoupající zpět na planinu. Na dně řeky obrovské desky bazaltu tvoří zvláštní a impozantní útvar přezdívaný "La Chapelle". • Salazie. Závoj nevěsty, to je jeden z nejspektakulárnějších pohledů na ostrově. Východní strana kaldery je pokryta bujnou zelení, skrz kterou se řítí množství vodopádů.
