About the destination: The long east coast of Sri Lanka, which is inaccessible to tourism, slowly awakens from its sleepy sleep. For the long journey, beautiful sandy beaches and a calm sea, which invites you to swim and snorkel, as well as many worthwhile diving spots. "Trinco", the capital of the Eastern Province, is worth seeing in the region include the colorful Hindu Koneswaram Temple and the hot springs of Kanniyai. About 12 km north of Trincomalee is the small island of Pigeon Island, with an offshore coral reef just off the beach of Nilaveli, which can only be reached by boat. The best travel time for the east coast is from May to October. Arrival by land transfer from Colombo (airport Bandaranaike), on the way a stopover is recommended for example in the region of Dambulla / Sigiriya.

About the destination: Negombo is a major city in Sri Lanka, situated on the west coast and at the mouth of the Negombo Lagoon, in Western Province, Sri Lanka. Negombo is the fourth largest city in Sri Lanka and it is the largest city in Gampaha District. Negombo is also the administrative capital centre of the Negombo Division.
