The Caldea and Inúu spa complexes in nearby Escaldes-Engordany use thermal waters for pools, saunas and treatments in striking, glass‑clad buildings that dominate the skyline. In winter, Andorra la Vella serves as a hub for day trips to ski areas like Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal; in summer, it’s a starting point for hiking, mountain biking and scenic drives through high‑altitude passes. With its mix of nature, commerce and culture, the city works both as a short urban escape and as a base for a longer Pyrenean stay.
